Our Baba Yaga candle is inspired by the witch from Slavic folklore, often associated with winter. Baba Yaga, sometimes a helpful figure, sometimes a villain, is depicted as living in a house that walks around on hen's legs. The scent brings to mind the crackling embers of a roaring hearth, set amid a snowy birch forest.

Baba Yaga is such a special scent! I love the smell of camp fires so much, it brings me back to so many awesome summer memories, and Baba Yaga is like a dream-like version of that scent. It's also a flexible scent, because while it reminds me of summer, it also goes very well with winter time and reflection.
It also has a third application: We live in the desert, and this Baba Yaga was meant as a gift for a friend of mine. My husband was delivering it to her but forgot about it in the car during work. He returned to his car to discover that the candle had melted all over the seats! While I was bummed, it turns out the Baba Yaga makes for a really nice car scent too!
